Marinette quickly snuck off to transform into Ladybug, and help out. The building was evacuated, or at least that’s what everyone thought. That was until the shouts were heard, soon people began to smell the smoke. No one thought that anything could go wrong that night. It was for the best.Īll the people were having the time of their lives, drinking, talking, and enjoying the sweets Marinette’s family had baked. He had even kept his son, Adrian, from coming to the celebration because he had been slacking off in his Mandarin classes. Everyone came, except for Gabriel Agreste, who rarely showed his face in public. People from all over the city came together as they celebrated.
It was one of the biggest events that had ever happened in Paris. If only she had been quicker, if she had noticed before it was too late. Her parents were dead and it was her fault. There was no battle that Ladybug couldn’t win. She had defeated countless numbers of villains, some being harder than others. She failed Paris, she failed her family, she even failed herself. She was supposed to keep all of Paris safe, but she failed. She is known to Paris as the superhero Ladybug. Hawkmoth has been the main villain of Paris for the past 3 years, and she has been the defender of Paris sine his first attack. For the past year she had dedicated her time to finishing up any business in Paris, and that was finding Hawkmoth. Paris had been her home for the past 17 years of her life, but ever since that fateful day nothing has felt the same. Looking out the window of her seat, she stared at her city feeling a pain in her chest at the thought of never returning. Once she got on that plane she knew she was safe, once they landed in Gotham no one would bother looking at her passport. With one last look, she hurried off inside the gate, making sure to not attract any attention while she walked past the security. The announcements rang once more, reminding all the passengers headed to Gotham that their flight was now boarding.
Marinette stood at the terminal glancing down at here ticket, and looking back up.
